First Day of Next or Previous Month in Excel

With help of this post you can now easily determine first day of month for any date

This will be determined using function EOMONTH

Syntax

EOMONTH(any_date,months)

For first day of month in excel                                   =EOMONTH(any_date,-1)+1

For first day of next month in excel                            =EOMONTH(any_date,0)+1

For first day of previous month in excel                      =EOMONTH(any_date,-2)+1
